NOW is the time to get articles and ads into us for the upcoming newsletter!
Area non-profits are free for the first 1/4 page so it is a great way to showcase your events and activities absolutely FREE. This newsletter covers the months of November, December and January so keep this in mind when deciding what to send in for printing. Listing of thank you's can also be included for volunteers that have given to organizations in town. We want to thank everyone who has helped to make Blanchard a better place. For this issue please call me or email your information to me by October 20th. The upcoming edition should be sent out during the first week of November.

Non-profit area information and flyers can also be posted on the Blanchard Community website and in the calendar that is posted here Blanchard Community Calendar! Contact me at (208) 437-4480 if you want to list your events on the calendar. They can be added to the website at any time during the month.
 

Also, businesses, "for profits" who wish to renew newsletter ads for 2010 can send in their requests now for the coming year. If you are renewing (or new) for 2010 please date your checks for November 1st or after so funds are counted during our next fiscal year. New ads are also welcome and you can contact me if you need cost information or a renewal form for your ad.

Thank you for your support of the Blanchard Community and for helping us keep everyone informed through our newsletter. Remember the newsletter reaches approximately 900 households. The word of the month is "Sharing" so keep this in mind if you have stories or sayings that we can include with this theme for this issue. We welcome articles/letters to the editor concerning our theme (at no charge if space permits).

For your preview information we have two major events coming up in November at the Blanchard Community Center, 685 Rusho--November 7th Holiday Bazaar from 9 AM to 4 PM (We are taking vendor applications NOW) and November 14th "Creative Spirits" Art Show and Auction beginning at 6 PM to showcase local talent. Contact the Center at 437-1037 for details on these two events and be sure to attend the Blanchard Daze follow-up meeting this Thursday, October 15th at 3 PM. We need volunteers for BLANCHARD DAZE each year. Also, the Blanchard Grange is planning a Halloween Party during the afternoon of Halloween.
